Delicious!! Great food. Great selections. Friendly and helpful service. Blackened Mahi and Grits were YUMMY. Calamari was done just right! Drinks had a kick. Enjoyed it all the way around. We're able to split a meal and they accommodated it in the kitchen and split it for us!!
My group of people of five absolutely loved a cool day outside on a patio. It was amazing for our event. We had fun shared laughters and enjoyed our meals. I had fish tacos and it was amazing. Will be back again soon.
If I could, I would give this place and its staff 10 stars instead of 5! Our friends were celebrating their anniversary, and we spontaneously booked a table for six. Our reservation was for 7:45, but we arrived almost an hour early. Despite the restaurant being fully packed, manager Emerys Powell went above and beyond to seat us within just 10 minutes — truly impressive! Once seated, we were greeted by our server, James Freiberg, who provided absolutely outstanding service throughout the entire evening. He was incredibly patient, attentive to everyone’s preferences, gave excellent menu recommendations, and made sure our glasses were never empty. As a thoughtful gesture, he even brought out a dessert with a congratulatory note for our friends’ anniversary — such a wonderful touch! The food was phenomenal! We had the freshest raw oysters (standard — sweet and meaty — and premium — brinier and smaller — both were excellent), perfectly cooked fried calamari, and a refreshing Greek salad. We also ordered the chef’s specials: two types of fish and a steak — everything was simply outstanding. Our whole group was beyond happy and satisfied with both the food and the service. We will definitely be back — this restaurant has truly won us over!
After having a horrible seafood dinner the night before I was truly happy to find JCFC. Although they were crowded my waitress was short. I sat at the bar. Derrick and Lauren the bartenders were awesome and attentive. I ordered the broiled seafood platter and a bowl of Rick's Seafood soup. Both were well seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. If you are in the area I highly recommend that you give JCFC a try.
We tried this place for the first time, and it was no less than AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend the blackened Mahi (market special) with grits, collard greens, and Tasso ham gravy. It was absolutely delicious, one of the better seafood dishes I've had, and our waiter was fantastic! 10/10 overall!
I loved this place. Went here for lunch. At a place like this I’d go for blackened Halibut or trigger fish but unfortunately they didn’t have it. The server recommended a fish that was similar to the trigger(forgot the name) and it was a great recommendation! They have indoor and outdoor seating on the second floor patio that looks over Julington Creek. Everything on that plate was fresh & delicious. Good portion and very fair pricing for a fresh fish camp. Will go again.
One of my absolute favorite seafood spots! The fish is always fresh, and both the grilled and fried options are delicious. My personal favorites are the fish & chips (not pictured ) and the trout. They also have a great selection of drinks, appetizers, and homemade bread pudding that’s a must-try! The staff is friendly and polite, and the view of the water makes the whole experience even better. Valet parking is a big plus. Prices are very reasonable for the quality — you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Thank you to the entire team!
Excellent food and the view of the river is amazing. Service was good but near the end sat about 20 mins before I saw my server again. Though over all great experience and will return
